  3. Human Development and Aging
     Understand how physical, cognitive, and emotional changes affect individuals
    across the lifespan.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills
     Develop strong communication and teamwork skills essential for building trust with clients and colleagues.
  5. Cognitive and Mental Health Support
     Gain practical strategies to assist clients experiencing cognitive decline, dementia, or mental health challenges.

Admission Requirements for PSW

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status

  • Grade 12 English (C or U) or equivalent

  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

  • Proof of immunization as required by healthcare partners

  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
