ECEA Program Overview

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) Program at Prime International College prepares caring and motivated individuals to support children during their early developmental years. This program focuses on building the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to assist Early Childhood Educators in licensed childcare and early learning environments.

Students learn how to support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities, play-based learning, and daily care routines. Admission Requirements For ECEA

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Proof of immunization as required by childcare placement partners
  • Interest and suitability for working with young children
